Emoni Bates has dominated the middle school basketball scene for over two years now. The 6'7 eighth grader has an arsenal of moves, can jump out the gym and pull up from anywhere on the court. He is the most polarizing prospect in the class of 2022 and will be bursting on the high school basketball scene shortly. Bates already has received college offers and will be flooded with more by this time next year.
It will be interesting to see how his game and body develops, also how he handles competition at the next level. If I had to guess I'd say he'll be just fine, he has a great work ethic and smart group of people around him.
When he gets to high school Emoni will definitely produce more insane highlights, until then just sit back and enjoy the show.
