No matter the opponent, every game Meassick is determined to give it his all.

Meassick is going all out.

The motor is always at full throttle whenever Meassick steps between the lines.

“My mindset is to be the best leader possible for my teammates, and set them up for success on every play,” Meassick said.

Meassick has great passion and energy whenever he’s on the field. Meassick tells why he enjoys the game of football so much.

“I love the challenge and competition of 11 men on defense trying to stop me and my teammates,” Meassick said.

Meassick has learned many valuable lessons from playing football that he applies to his everyday life.

“Playing football has taught me to never quit, and you have success in anything you do if you work for it, practice it, and it becomes a lifestyle,” Meassick said.

Meassick shares his favorite football memory.

“My favorite memory is having my dad there with me as a coach, and mentor,” Meassick said. “He pushes me everyday to compete.”

Meassick takes his role as one of the leaders on the team very seriously. Meassick makes sure he’s a daily positive influence on his peers.

“I lead by example. I do not say much but lead with my actions on the field and in school,” Meassick said. “The best advice I give to my teammates is to do their jobs to the best of their ability, and compete every snap.”

Meassick is appreciative of having amazing male role models that are supportive.

“I’ve learned from my coaches that life is not easy, and if you want it bad enough you will work for it and earn everything,” Meassick said. “The best advice I’ve gotten is earn everything, be accountable, and you get out what you put into it.”

Meassick patterns his mentality after these standouts.

“My favorite college player is Chris Leak from University of Florida.  He is my mentor, and coach.  His style of play, and personality is similar to mine.  He was a winner,” Meassick said. “My favorite NFL player is Tom Brady for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is the greatest QB of all time, he holds his team accountable, and he makes those guys around him better no matter who they are and that is what I work on daily. He is the GOAT.”

Meassick lists science as his favorite subject in school.

“I enjoy experiments of different things to see and understand the results cause/effect,” Meassick said.

Meassick explains his collegiate aspirations.

“My dream college is the University of Florida,” Meassick said. “It has a history of winning, I have watched them play since I was little, and I have attended their camps.  Everything about it makes me feel that is where I want to be.”

Meassick is striving for greatness in all that he does.

“My goal on the field is to always be the best teammate possible, while giving it my all to help my team do what needs to be done,” Meassick said. “My goal off the field is to do what I need to in life, school, family, and society to set up my future full of dreams becoming reality.”
