Isaiah Favors is one of the best players from the Wellington, FL area in the Class of 2021.
The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Favors, who attends Wellington High School, is a dynamic player that works as a defensive end and tight end.
Favors has earned plenty of recognition during his career, such as being selected as Most Improved Player on the varsity team.
Favors is humbled by the accolade.
“Means a lot,” Favors said. “Means that I’ve been working hard and need to keep my foot on the gas.”
No matter the opponent, every game Favors is determined to give it his all.
Favors is going all out.
The motor is always at full throttle whenever Favors steps between the lines.
“My mindset is that I can dominate that man in front of me any time,” Favors said.
Favors has great passion and energy whenever he’s on the field. Favors tells why he enjoys the game of football so much.
“I just love that you can pounce on a guy without getting in trouble,” Favors said.
Favors has learned many valuable lessons from playing football that he applies to his everyday life.
“Football has taught me to make the best of the time you have playing,” Favors said.
Favors takes his role as one of the leaders on the team very seriously. Favors makes sure he’s a daily positive influence on his peers.
“I demonstrate being a good teammate by encouraging them to get better every day and to make the best of the moment,” Favors said. “The best advice I’ve given is to never give up on your dreams or one another.”
Favors is appreciative of having amazing male role models that are supportive.
“I have learned that when you are a good person off the field it carries over to the field so that you are a great player,” Favors said. “The best advice I’ve gotten is to have integrity.”
Favors patterns his mentality after this standout.
“I look up to Khalil Mack because his moves are very precise and I use those moves like I was him,” Favors said.
Favors lists economy as his favorite subject in school.
“I love talking about events and real life issues,” Favors said.
Favors explains his collegiate aspirations.
“My dream college is Alabama because that program is the best in the nation,” Favors said. “They also make you feel welcome.”
Favors is striving for greatness in all that he does.
“I want to be the best person I can be so in the future I can show my kids how to be successful as a person,” Favors said.
