Dariq Miller-Whitehead is one of the best prospects in the class of 2022. The 6’5 Forward from New Jersey has flown somewhat under the radar in terms of hype but not potential.
On the court Whitehead has shown the ability to do pretty much everything at an exceptional level. Whether it is shooting, getting to the rim, defending or even facilitating, Whitehead is better than most. He also possesses the size, length and athleticism to excel at the next level.
Whitehead has chosen to play his high school basketball at Montverde Academy. Montverde is known for its basketball program and has produced some high level NBA talent lately including Ben Simmons and D’Angelo Russell.
Whitehead will look to continue that tradition and hopefully someday play in the NBA. He has already drawn interest from multiple division I schools including Louisville, Seton Hall, USC and Rutgers.
