Fero Christian is one of the best players from the Tampa, FL area in the Class of 2024.
The 6-foot Christian, who attends Riverview High School, is a dynamic player that works as a point guard and shooting guard.
No matter the opponent, every game Christian is determined to give it his all.
Christian is going all out.
The motor is always at full throttle whenever Christian steps between the lines.
“My mindset is to get others involved and be a lockdown defender,” Christian said.
Christian has great passion and energy whenever he’s on the court. Christian tells why he enjoys the game of basketball so much.
“I love being able to kill who’s ever in front of me and have fun,” Christian said.
Christian has learned many valuable lessons from playing basketball that he applies to his everyday life.
“I’ve learned to have fun, stay disciplined and to keep my grades up in school,” Christian said.
Christian shares his favorite memory of playing basketball.
“My favorite memory was when I dropped a triple double in my middle school basketball game because it was a championship game and I had to step up and be a leader,” Christian said.
Christian takes his role as one of the leaders on the team very seriously. Christian makes sure he’s a daily positive influence on his peers.
“I demonstrate being a good teammate by being a leader,” Christian said. “The best advice I give is to work hard so you can be a better player. Also, to be a dog on the defensive end.”
Christian is appreciative of having amazing male role models that are supportive.
“My coaches have taught me to work hard, keep my grades up and also be disciplined,” Christian said. “My coaches tell me to work hard on and off the court.”
Christian patterns his play after these standouts.
“I look up to Kyrie Irving and Damian Lillard because they are both outstanding players,” Christian said.
Christian lists math as his favorite subject in school.
“I feel like it's very simple to me,” Christian said.
Christian explains his collegiate aspirations.
“My dream school is UConn because my older brother played there,” Christian said.
Christian is striving for greatness in all that he does.
“My goal is to graduate from high school and college, make it to the league and buy my mom and aunt a house,” Christian said.
