Class of 2020 combo guard Dwon Odom has solidified his standing as a top prospect during the Made Hoops Winter Lea8ue. The 6’2” Odom played for Team United who finished 8-4 in the three-session regular season. United completed the league with a 10-5 record and claimed 5th place.

Odom’s rare skill-set was captured on numerous highlight films (see below). He appeared on videos throwing down spectacular dunks and showcasing his outstanding handles. Odom led the squad in scoring with 13.6 points per game to go with 5.5 rebounds 1.3 assists.
“Made Hoops had a lot of great competition and it was very challenging, I had fun,” said Odom. The 8th grader at Georgia Cyber Academy specifically listed the eventual champions, Team Takeover as his toughest competition.
The Buford, Georgia resident is also a standout football player. He possesses the drive of a champion. “I really wanted to win the championship,” admitted Odom.
Odom plays AAU ball for the Atlanta Celtics. Last season he posted gaudy numbers; 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals per game.
“My style of play is that I can get to the basket at any time and I use my hops as an advantage,” said Odom. “I model myself as LeBron James because he goes to the basket very strong, he gets his teammates involve and he has a good jump shot but people leave him open and he makes them pay for it.”
Odom will be attending St. Francis High School in Alpharetta, Georgia. But before he officially enters the 9th grade, Odom has a busy upcoming schedule playing both basketball and football.
“My upcoming goals are to be top 10 and just be the best player I can be,” said Odom. “And just try to get better every day.”
