Youth1 Alum 2022 QB Chase Harrison, from Centerville, OH, announced his commitment to Marshall University via his Twitter account over the weekend.

Harrison, who we ranked as Youth1's #1 prospect on the 2018 edition of our Elite101 back when he was entering the 8th grade, is widely regarded as one of the premier athletes in the 2022 class.
The Ohio QB is a 4-Star athlete, and both a MaxPreps and Adidas All-American. Harrison was also named to Youth1's Freshman450 during his Freshman year of High School.
Back in 2017 when I first wrote about Harrison I said, "Harrison is an orchestrator on the field. He can make all the throws and find the holes in the defense. While he thrives making throws inside the pocket, Harrison is great at throwing on the move, as he can roll out to both his right and left sides with comfort. He shows an effortless nature when running the offense and lets his talent shine through."
All of these things remain true about Harrison's game, but he's obviously made plenty of improvements since back in his middle school days when we first got the opportunity to get to know him. We've been covering Harrison since the 7th grade here at Youth1, so it comes no surprise to us that he's reached this level of success in his football career.
Major congratulations are in order for Chase and the entire Harrison family! With his commitment to play at Marshall University, The Centerville High School Junior has an extremely bright future ahead!
