We recently released the 2021 edition of Youth1's Freshman450. This year's edition features the extremely talented class of 2025.
The Freshman450 is brimming with elite athletes that will be playing D1 football at some of the major collegiate programs around the nation very soon.
Today's Freshman450 spotlight athlete is 2025 QB Kelden Ryan.
Kelden Ryan is currently shining bright for Keller Central High School in Fort Worth, TX, as a Freshman starting on Varsity.
Ryan was ranked #14 on last year's Elite101 Rankings as an 8th grader, and was recently named to our Freshman450.
"I like the atmosphere and the competitive nature of the game. I like being on a team and being able to contribute to the team’s success," Ryan told Youth1.com of what he loves about Football.
"I like having an opportunity to distribute the ball to my teammates," he added.
Kelden is a true athlete with real skill at the QB spot. He can make all the throws with precision, and also dice up the defense with his legs on designed runs or if the play breaks down.
"As a teammate I try to be positive and help my teammates stay encouraged during the game. I think I get the ball out pretty quickly and I’m able to use my athleticism to extend plays," Ryan said when asked about his strengths.

Although he's already known as one of the elite QBs in the 2025 class, Ryan remains dedicated to taking his game to another level.
"I think I’m developing well. I’m getting a lot of varsity reps in the most competitive class of football in Texas, so I am able to adjust to the speed of the game earlier in my high school career. I’ve had a lot of opportunities to develop my pocket presence this year. Also, my QB coach has me on a structured lifting program so I’m getting a lot stronger," Ryan said.
"I want to continue working on my decision making and playing faster. I’m studying a lot of film and trying to improve on the mental side. I want to keep lifting and getting stronger. I’m trying to get like Jalen Hurts in the weight room," he added.
