Youth1 Freshman450 CFB Recruiting Update: Running Backs

Youth1 takes a look at the recruitment of some of our Freshman450 prospects (2025 class). Today we take a look at the recruitment of some of the running backs that are on our prestigious list.

Anthony Rogers | 5-8 | 180 | Alabama

Rogers burst onto the recruiting scene during his freshman year of high school football. He carried the football 114 times for 1,139 yards (10.0 yards per carry) and 18 touchdowns on the ground. Rogers also caught 15 passes for 401 yards and six touchdowns. Wait……there’s more. Rogers returned 15 kickoffs for 631 yards. Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Auburn, Arkansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Ole Miss, and Penn State are among his 20-plus offers.

 

Byron Louis | 6-1 | 190 | Florida

Louis rushed for 186 total yards in the five games that he appeared in during the 2021 season. Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Miami, Syracuse, Texas A&M, and USF have already offered him. His last offer came from Toledo on May 3. Louis rushed fot 245 total yards and three touchdowns in four appearances last season as a freshman. 

 

Carlton Smith | 6-1 | 185 | Maryland

Smith made the Freshman450 as a running back but is getting recruited at linebacker. Boston College, Maryland, Michigan State, Morgan State, and Ole Miss have all offered him.

 

Gideon Davidson | 5-11 | 185 | Virginia

Wake Forest, Liberty, Penn State, South Carolina, and Virginia have all offered Davidson.

 

Jabree Wallace-Coleman | 6-0 | 200 | Pennsylvania

Wallace-Coleman’s list of 15-plus offers include Cincinnati, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Oregon, Pittsburgh, and Penn State.

 

Peyton Nelson | 5-11 | 175 | Maryland

Nelson currently has an offer from both Boston College and Georgia Tech. Nelson took an unofficial visit to Maryland back on Apr. 25.
