One of Pennsylvania's top Class of 2026 football players has received his first Division I offer. Texas A&M offered Messiah Mickens, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound running back/wide receiver/linebacker on Friday.

Messiah Mickens should be a familiar name to the Youth1 football audience. I chose him as one of the top performers at the All State Preps Middle School football showcase back in March.
Mickens was also one of the top performers at the BK Football Classic back in November. Here's what Youth1 had to say about his performance:
"Messiah Mickens (No. 9) might have been the best overall football player that I saw at the event. Defensively, Mickens was all over the field making tackles. Offensively, he had several runs of 15-plus yards that showcased both his power, agility, and speed. Mickens was difficult to bring down and gained a lot of yards despite facing a defense that was stacking the box."
Mickens will attend Trinity High School in Central Pennsylvania.
Congratulations to Messiah on getting his first offer!
