Diamond Sports Group is a sports organization with the goal of bringing exposure to young athletes all around the country. They have an excellent reputation in regards to discovering talent, developing talent and guiding young athletes down a path of success.
When it comes to football events, nobody does it better then Diamond. At the end of this year and beginning of next year, Diamond will be hosting two football tournaments, one in Virginia Beach and the other in Las Vegas.
The Diamond All-American Game at Virginia Beach will take place on December 27th. Over 700 athletes, grades 3-9 will all get the chance to compete against each other and test their skills. Each team is guaranteed two games and all of those games will include extensive media coverage. Along with the games and media coverage, athletes will have the privilege of playing at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex, along with guest speakers, seminars about education and daily motivational speeches.
CEO of Diamond Sports Group Donnell Brit spoke about the importance of teaching more than just football at these events.
“Exposing young kids to these kind of things can make a huge impact on their life.” Donnell said. “Life is more than just football, if we can make teach these athletes to make good life decisions in the 3rd and 4th grade then why wouldn’t we?
After the Virginia Beach event, Diamond will be hosting another All-American Game in Las Vegas on January 12th 2018. This event will have a much similar format to the Virginia Beach All-American game, it is intended for athlete’s grade 4-9. What makes this event special is seeing the different styles of football played from around the country. Donnell Brit spoke once again about how football differs in certain regions of the United States.

“When we had our first All-American game out in California, we noticed how differently they played the game.” Said Donnell. “After that we thought about how great it would be if we got the best talent from the east coast, and the best talent from the west coast all in the same tournament.”
If past events are any indication on how these two events turn out, then both of these All-American games will feature great young talent, along with positive life lessons these athletes can use for years to come.
