We kicked off our Youth1 Camp & Combine series last week in Jersey City, NJ with an exciting event that saw NJ talent get noticed and get tested!
Some impressive athletes came out and received testing from our elite trainers in what was a fun day for everyone in attendance.
2022 QB Cooper Jordan shined at the Youth1 New Jersey City Camp & Combine being named MVP for his standout performance.
Jordan raved about his positive experience at the Youth1 Combine.
"It was a great experience," Jordan told Youth1.com.
"The scores were very accurate and it helped me to see my scores and my competitiveness against other athletes and for me to see the areas I need to improve on because there’s always room for improvement," he added.
His standout numbers include a 4.87 40-time, 9'1" Broad Jump, and a 3.78 time in the Pro Agility 5-10-5 drill. Jordan ranked 1st among participants in all combine drills.
"It’s a step in the right direction. I'm honored and blessed. Thank you," Jordan said of earning MVP honors. "But there’s more work to do and I look forward to doing a lot better in the next one."
Standing at 5'9" 130 lbs., Cooper Jordan is a dual-threat QB that really knows how to gash defenses with his speed in the open field. He shines on designed QB runs and read-option plays. Jordan has a strong throwing arm with impressive mechanics. He delivers the ball with fluidity and typically hits receivers on target. Jordan's ability to drop in deep balls to his receivers in stride stands out.
The Downingtown, PA native is the starting QB for Bishop Shanahan High School.
"I’m a dual threat quarterback, I escape the pocket very well and can make any throw. Definitely a team player and a leader on and off the field I’m very explosive and a big difference maker on the field," Jordan said of his ability on the field.
Earning MVP honors at the first official Youth1 Camp & Combine, is an impressive achievement for 2022 QB Cooper Jordan. He's a tough athlete who loves working hard and proving his doubters wrong.
"I’m a very hard worker and I’m determined. I am usually looked down on because of my size, but I always prove others wrong."
Don't miss your chance to get noticed and get tested at the next Youth1 Camp & Combine on August 23rd in Tinton Falls, NJ.
