Tresean Hill is one of the best players from the Orlando, FL area in the Class of 2021.
The 5-foot-10, 166-pound Hill, who attends Tohopekaliga High School, is a dynamic player that works as a safety and cornerback.
No matter the opponent, every game Hill is determined to give it his all.
Hill is going all out.
The motor is always at full throttle whenever Hill steps between the lines.
“For my position I think you have to be patient but when you see the ball you have to react fast and try to get there,” Hill said.
Hill has great passion and energy whenever he’s on the field. Hill tells why he enjoys the game of football so much.
“I love the competition between players and just the fight to win on Friday nights,” Hill said.
Hill shares his favorite memory of playing football.
“My favorite memory is when I got my first interception last year,” Hill said. “I just remember being in that moment and everything just felt like it was in slow motion.”
Hill takes his role as one of the leaders on the team very seriously. Hill makes sure he’s a daily positive influence on his peers.
“I demonstrate being a good teammate by saying that instead of blaming each other, we should lift our teammates up if they did something wrong. Everybody makes mistakes and to get through them you have to uplift your teammate so they don’t get down on themselves,” Hill said. “When we were down in a game I just said we have to get fighting because you never know the outcome of the game.”
Hill is appreciative of having amazing male role models that are supportive.
“My coaches say you have to know what you’re doing like the back of your hand. If you get that done everything would be much easier. They also say never slack and always keep working hard,” Hill said. “The best advice I’ve gotten is what you put in is what you get out. I definitely believe in that 100 percent and every time I step on the field I go 101 percent.”
Hill patterns his mentality after his former teammate.
“I don’t have a specific person in my position but a football player I can speak about is my teammate from last year. He taught a lot about the game,” Hill said. “He taught me about work ethic and just showed me why I love the game the way I do.”
Hill lists history as his favorite subject in school.
“It’s interesting to see how our country and the world came to be what it is today,” Hill said.
Hill explains his collegiate aspirations.
“My dream colleges are FSU and UCF,” Hill said. “Growing up I have seen these programs and the players they put out. I know if I had an opportunity to go to either of these schools I know I would definitely come out as a better player and a better student athlete.”
Hill is striving for greatness in all that he does.
“My goal on the field is to not let any passes get over me this season and get at least 2 picks this season,” Hill said. “My goal off the field is to get my GPA higher and get ready for college.”
