Kentucky/Tennessee FSG: Kentucky 7th Grade QB Breakdown

Without a leader at the helm, no offense can operate at its best, which makes the quarterback position one of the most important on the field no matter what level of play.  For the 7th grade Kentucky Future Stars, the position features two very qualified signal callers.  Here’s a look at who will be breaking the huddle in the 2016 Kentucky/Tennessee Future Stars Game.

Coming out of the tryouts last month, Arren Hash looked extremely impressive.  The Campbellsville Middle School product is a long, tall 2021 prospect that has all the making of a future All-State player, or more.  He’s a smart kid who took coaching extremely well during the tryout and really threw a nice ball.  Pushing 6’0 he will easily see over the line and I expect him to impress with his arm strength throughout the week and into the game itself.  I’m looking forward to seeing him play again Tennessee’s defense.

Coming out of the same Bowling Green tryout as Hash did, Zach Parker will also be quarterbacking team Kentucky in the Future Stars Game this year.  The righty quarterback is also in the 6’0 range and can throw the ball with the best of them in the Kentucky class of 2021.  During the tryout he wasn’t as accurate as Hash was, but was noticeably a step above the other quarterbacks who tried out.  The Hyden, Kentucky native has also shown to be a bit more mobile than Hash through their middle school days.  Together they’re a nice pair for Kentucky.
