In the EDP Spring League Division South, they finished first overall with no losses during the season which is very impressive considering the elite competition they are up against. They were crowned champions of the Bethesda Premier Cup as they defeated fellow Bethesda club, SC South 01 from Virginia, by a score of 1-0. With teams like Darby and SC Blue 01, Maryland is the top state for U14 Boys Soccer.

Hailing from Farmingville, New York; Atletico FC Boys ‘01/’02 has taken the state of New York by storm. They wrapped up first place in the NYCSL Premier League and finished as a finalist in the USYSA National Championship Cup. Finishing third in the EDP League North 1st Division shows that there is still room for improvement for the Atletico FC Boys.

4. Bethesda SC South 01 (VA) - @bethesdascnews
From northern Virginia, Bethesda SC South 01 is the top team in Virginia. They took a third place finish in the Region I Champions League which ensures their status as one of the elite teams in the league. From there, they finished as semifinalists in the Region 1 US Youth Soccer Championships suffering a 3-0 loss to FCV Ashburn Elite (VA). With several semifinal and finalist finishes throughout the year, SC South 01 can hold their head high about this season.

From Levittown, New York; Gunners FC is one of the top teams in the state of New York. Their strong season was highlighted with such accomplishments as a first place finish in the 1st North Division for the EDP League and they took home the 2015 Puma Christopher Colombus Cup. The Gunners also finished as semifinalists in the New York State Cup losing to eventual winners, Manhattan Titans. Expect the Levittown Gunners to remain at the top of New York youth soccer for years to come.

Coming out of Baltimore, Maryland; Pipeline SC Black had a very successful 2015-2016 season. Pipeline SC Black had a very strong third place finish in the EDP Spring League Division South and also finished as champions of the EDP Open Cup.They came close to becoming the state champions of Maryland but lost to fellow Baltimore club, Darby 01/02, in the cup final. They will be looking for revenge next year and will look home to take the state title.

From the state of Arizona, SC Del Sol 02 Boys is the top team in the West Coast. They finished as state champions of Arizona while placing second in the Desert Premier League. In the USYS Youth Soccer Region IV Championships, they suffered a tough 3-1 loss to the Eastside Timbers Ajax from Oregon. Regardless of the quarterfinal finish, this team are the kings of the West Coast.

GPS-MA NPL Boys 01/02 can stake their claim as the hottest team in the nation. As the top team in the state of Massachusetts, they took home a state title and finished as regional champions of the USCS Mid-Atlantic Region. They also finished first in the NEP B14 Boys NPL Division and out of 54 games they won 46 times. The GPS boys from Massachusetts are looking to take over and this year proved that they are for real.

8. Sereno 01 Boys Chelsea White (AZ) - @Sereno_Soccer
The Sereno 01 Boys Chelsea White from Arizona had a great season and will be looking for more in the years to come. Sereno finished in second place in the Arizona State League right behind FBSL Palermo ‘02. They came away as champions of the Chelsea Cup last year as the highlight of their season. Next year they will look to better their results in the Arizona State Cup as they crashed out of the group stage this year.

Coming out of the state of New Jersey, NJ Stallions Academy Juve 2002 has broken out big time this year. The Stallions also placed a semifinalist finish in the Potomac Memorial Tournament. Be on the lookout for the Stallions as they look to make a name for themselves as Jersey’s best.

OBGC Rangers Blue from Olney, Maryland finished the 2015-2016 season as one of the top teams in Maryland. Last August, they took first place in the EDP League’s 2nd South Division which is one of the more elite leagues of boys’ youth soccer. They also took home the 2015 Bethesda Premier Cup to signify their place as one of the top teams in the whole state of Maryland. With these impressive results, Rangers Blue look to carry the momentum into next year.

FC Dallas Youth 01B Central rounds out the national rankings as the top team in Texas. FC Dallas Youth has had a sensational year and their biggest highlight has to be taking home the 2016 CCV Stars Champions Cup in a 3-0 victory over Arizona Hammers 02B. FC Dallas also placed as semifinalists in the North Texas State Cup and finalists in the 38th annual Dr. Pepper Dallas Cup.
