Victor’s (N.Y.) 2018 Defenseman, Mike Novitsky, has committed to University of Virginia, Youth1 has confirmed.

Mike Novitsky, who plays club ball for Sweetlax 2018, is currently 6’3 and 210lbs. Novitsky will be a member of the Maverik Showtime and Brine National Team in 2015. As an 8th grader, Novitsky won the lacrosse Defense Impact Player Award, Played JV Lacrosse, Basketball (Starter) and Football (Starter) and was a starter on Victor High School's varsity football and basketball teams as a freshman.
The first thing you notice when you watch Novitsky is that he’s a physical presence who creates turnovers that end up to being turned to immediate offense. After Novitsky creates the turnover he turns into a groundball machine who does a great job of getting the ball to space.
