Lacrosse: Midfielder Hayden Baker (2017) Commits to High Point University

Hayden Baker, a Midfielder from Austin, Texas, has verbally committed to High Point University, Youth 1 has confirmed.

Baker plays his club lacrosse for Iron Horse Lacrosse and West Coast Starz National Team in the summer time. The 6-foot-1, 178 lbs midfielder also participates in Cross Country at Westlake High School in Austin,TX.

The strong dodging,right-handed Sophomore has a well placed, riffle of a shot that he put on full display this past fall at the Terrapin Classic, Uplax, and Philly Showcase. Additionally, baker can handle the pressure of moving the ball in transition and immediately creates offense. Coming into his freshman season Texas Lacrosse Magazine ranked Hayden Baker the #3 Freshman Midfielder in the State of Texas.

This past Summer Baker was an Adrenaline Black Card Showcase invitee, Adrenaline Platinum Cup invitee, and Adrenaline Boys Showcase Players to Watch. If Baker can improve his left hand he’ll be an impact offensive player for High Point.
