Episcopal Academy (PA.)’s 2017 Griffin Ernst has committed to play college lacrosse at Lafayette, Youth1 Confirmed.

Ernst is a 2017 Face-Off Midfielder who plays club ball with Dukes Lacrosse Club. Ernst comes in at 5’10 165 lbs and also plays Football, Hockey, and Sails (3x champion). During his lacrosse playing career he has earned a number of achievements that include: Legacy Tournament all-star, Lehigh Valley Rising Sophomore all-star, Episcopal Middle School A Lacrosse Leadership Award, Ashbee U13A CCLA Champions, and Nominated Chester County All-Star.
Griffin Ernst is a versatile Face-Off Midfielder who possess quick hands and can time the whistle. When going up against bigger opponents who try to out muscle him, Ernst is able to succeed by using his finesse and showing that he can be scrappy. When Ernst does play with the ball in the back of his stick he is quick to move towards his offense zone while finding space and protecting the stick sometimes against 2 or 3 opponents. Ernst is what you want out of a face-off midfielder; quick, smart, and consistent.
