The Philadelphia Little Flyers took advantage of power play opportunities against Team Comcast, beating them 2-1 on Sunday. Comcast scored first when Carson Briere assisted Peter White for the goal with just seconds remaining until the first period came to a close. The Flyers drew even in the second though, when Sergei Kern scored the power play goal on an assist from Cole Asroff. With things tied up early in the third, the Flyers scored on yet another power play, this time from Mark Centrella, to give Philadelphia the lead. Centrella’s goal would be all the Flyers’ needed, as Comcast was not able to get anything else past Brooks DiMarino in the end. DiMarino finished his day saving 25 of 26 shots in the win.

Mike Roarty put the Chiefs up quickly, scoring just two minutes into the game, but that would be the first and only goal the Chiefs scored. With the game still 1-0 and time running out, the Rockets finally got on the board as Vance Moran scored on an assist from Rece Bergeman with less than four minutes remaining in the game. All tied up at one, the Rockets scored again, this time with just 23 seconds remaining in the game. Matthew Brown scored the game-winning goal on an assist from Steven Agriogianis, and with just seconds to go, the Chiefs could not answer back. Jacob Signorile got the win in net for the Rockets, saving 18 of 19 shots on net.
