Michael Watkins III is one of the best players from the Fort Lauderdale, FL area in the Class of 2021.
The 5-foot-10, 160-pound Watkins III, who attends American Heritage, is a dynamic player that works as a wide receiver.

“These awards meant that my hard work didn’t go unnoticed,” Watkins III said.

“My mindset for my position is to be the best on the field and always catch the ball,” Watkins III said.
Watkins III shares his favorite memory of playing football.
“My favorite memory was winning the Super Bowl because it was my only time winning the Super Bowl,” Watkins said.
Watkins III takes his role as one of the leaders on the team very seriously. Watkins III makes sure he’s a daily positive influence on his peers.
“I demonstrate being a good player by always being happier for my teammate then I am for myself,” Watkins III said. “The best advice for my teammates is to always stay humble.”
Watkins III lists math as his favorite subject in school.
“I will most likely have to use numbers the most in life,” Watkins III said.
Watkins III explains his collegiate aspirations.
“My dream college is UM because it’s close to home,” Watkins III said.
Watkins III is striving for greatness in all that he does.
“My goals are to go to a D-1 college and have good grades,” Watkins III said.
