MVP Hustle Garcia Firmly Planted on top of 12U Power Rankings

For the third time this season we’re taking an in-depth look at the 12U USSSA Power Rankings. We have yet to see a more dominant team rightful of the top-spot than today’s No.1 squad: MVP Hustle Garcia (pictured above).

  1. MVP Hustle- Garcia: This Norwalk, California, based team has put together one of the best seasons we’ve ever seen. Just in USSSA sanctioned play, they are 42-0 overall and 33-0 against other 12-Major teams. MVP Hustle has been destroying competition like at this past weekend’s International World Series Qualifier where they went 9-0 and outscored teams by a combined 84-19. They’ve won every single USSSA tournament played in dating back to last fall. Against In Class foes, MVP Hustle scores an average of 9.5 runs per game while allowing under two. This is likely the best team in the country in the 12-Major class.
  2. Banditos Black: The Banditos are on quite a run. They’ve won four consecutive USSSA tournaments: a Global World Series Qualifier, Select30 Super NIT and two Qualifiers to go a combined 17-0. In three of the four tournaments they allowed less than 6 runs all weekend! Like MVP Hustle, the Banditos are undefeated In Class, 13-0. Overall they are 24-3-1, with all three losses coming to 13-Major teams. Hopefully down the road the Banditos and MVP Hustle will be able to battle for supremacy on the diamond.
  3. MCBC Hit Dogs: The Hit Dogs are coming off of a subpar performance at last weekend’s USSSA Open State Tournament where they went 2-2 but have been otherwise excellent this season. They have three USSSA championships, most notably a Canton Select30 Super NIT title in April. This Michigan-based squad is 15-0 In Class and scores nearly 10 runs per game on average while giving up a shade over two.
  4. Crawdads By YETI Baseball Club: The Crawdads have had an extremely full USSSA schedule with consistent results. In their last six tournaments, the Louisiana-based team has either finished in first, second or third. Notably they won half of those six with two titles coming at the DFW Select30 Super NIT and the Icy Breeze CTX Super NIT. The Crawdads do have 5 losses in class, but they’ve racked up 30 wins, 44 overall.
  5. Cincy Flames: The Flames have won two Select30 Super NITs in two months and are 15-2-1 In Class. While they tend to give up a few more runs per game than the other teams on this list, their offense scores nearly 10 a game on average. The Flames are 23-2-1 overall and outscored opponents 39-9 at their most recent tournament in early June.
