NextGen's Regional Camp Series goes East with this weekend's Mid-Atlantic Showcase

NextGen All America Camp is set to take their regional camp series back East this weekend with a stop in Wilmington, Delaware on February 22nd. This camp is dubbed as the NextGen Elite Mid-Atlantic Showcase.

For those unfamiliar, NextGen camps have become one of the premier youth camps in the country. Over the past few years, NextGen has grown to become one of the top exposure camps for youth football players.

Their invite-only event, The Show, is one of the nation's biggest and best youth football events, as it brings together the absolute best of the best to compete in one location. An invite to The Show can be secured by at standout performance at one of the regional camps in NextGen's camp series.

This weekend's Mid-Atlantic Showcase will be held at 76ers Fieldhouse in Wilmington, Delaware.

The event starts at 8am. 7th-10th grades only.

The talent at these events are always top-notch. Youth1 has identified some athletes attending either the Vegas event or LA event that are worth keeping an eye on.

Anthony Selby - RB - 2023

Selby has earned a reputation as one of the premier RBs in the 2023 class. He has a lethal combination of power and speed. He was named to Youth1's Elite101 Rankings when he was an 8th grader. Also, named to the most recent edition of the Freshman450.

Dante Garcia - QB - 2023

Lefty QB who throws a beautiful ball. He's very mobile moving around in the pocket and knows how to extend the play when he feels pressure. Garcia has a quick release and throws the ball with real precision. Knows how to use his legs to create if the offense breaks down.

We spoke about Garcia's ability on a recent episode of The Spotlight.

Rahshan LaMons - RB - 2024

LaMons has been a star at every NextGen event he's attended. He was named as a top 50 player in the 2024 class on Youth1's Elite101 Rankings. He's quick, shifty and fast from the RB spot. Line him up at WR and he'll make plays too. He's just a playmaker, plain and simple.

Micah Stamper - RB - 2024

Stamper is known as one of Delaware's rising stars and elite youth talents. He's everything you'd want in a Running Back and then some. He's a game-changer. Excited to see what he does this weekend at the showcase.

Jackson Pons - WR - 2024

Pons is over 6 feet tall and has great size for a young receiver. He runs routes well and has great hands that allow him to snag the ball out of the air. He makes tough catches look easy. One of the receivers to keep an eye on at the Mid-Atlantic Showcase.
