Dubbed as one of the best 7th grade LB’s in the country, Aaron Willis has been on Youth1’s radar for some time. After a successful season, the Midlothian, VA native has been hard at work this offseason preparing for the spring football.

Willis was recently selected to attend the Football Hotbed National Middle School Invitational Showcase at the end of April. He was also selected to attend NextGen's "The Show" camp at the Football Hall of Fame in June.
His standout play has been noticed and quality performances at these upcoming events could yield even more opportunities.
In an effort to keep active this offseason, Willis has found ways to keep in great shape. “(This offseason) I played basketball for my middle school team and did some strength training with my trainer,” Willis said.
Standing at 6’0, 175 lbs., Willis is a hard-hitting, fast and instinctual player that has a nose for the ball. Making plays in the backfield is a specialty for Willis as he enjoys hounding opposing quarterbacks.
On offense, Willis plays FB where he can be a bruising runner and lead blocker. Using his size to his advantage, Willis imposes his will forcing back would-be-tacklers while blocking and running over defenders when carrying the rock.
After an outstanding 7th grade season Willis is as hungry as ever for more. With spring football right around the corner, Willis is ready to put his productive offseason to good use.
“It was a great year for me, but I believe in always trying to improve and working to becoming better at what I do,” Willis said.
“I look forward to learning from people who came before so I am looking forward to the camps and combines so I can learn new techniques or just get better at what I already know. I also look forward to a great spring season.”
Willis will be playing with the Central Virginia Hurricanes this spring.
“The competition is going to bring it, but I have confidence in our team and we are ready,” Willis said.
With spring football on the horizon, Willis is focused on making the best of it. For Willis his focus isn’t solely on football as he’s striving for greatness in all aspects of his life.
“My number one goal is to stay focused in school while still giving 110% to my team. I want to continue to grow and develop in all areas of my life not just football.”
