If you're a 6th-8th grade football athlete in the greater New Jersey area looking to hone your craft with teaching from the professionals, look no further than the NJFCA Rising Stars Spring Clinic.
The NJFCA Rising Stars Spring Clinic is coming to Rutgers University on April 22, 2022. Attendees will be timed in the 40 yard dash and receive expert instruction from NJFCA coaches with some former Rutgers players in attendance as well.
The New Jersey Football Coaches Association is doing their part to help grow New Jersey football.
"We are a non-profit organization comprised of over a thousand members across the state of NJ working to preserve, grow and promote the best interests of NJ Football," NJFCA Commissioner John Jacob told Youth1.com.
"We have supported and been involved with many clinics over the years, however this is the first we will be operating," Jacob added.
If you like to compete and learn the nuances of the game to improve your football IQ, this is the camp for you.
"To offer high quality instruction for middle school football athletes in a high energy, competitive environment," Jacob said is the goal of the clinic.
"Attendees can expect to receive detailed technical instruction in their selected position area," he added.
The NJFCA Rising Stars Spring Clinic offers elite level coaching from some of the best professionals across the state of New Jersey. When asked what he's most excited about in regards to the NJFCA Rising Stars Spring Clinic, Commissioner John Jacob said, "to meet all the young athletes and their families at our State University of Rutgers and enjoy a great day of football together."
Former Rutgers player, Darius Hamilton, recipient of the Donald Bender Trophy in 2016 awarded to the top lineman in the program, will be in attendance to work with attendees. Also, there will be an autograph session with NFL players and a leadership instructional session.
