Boys U14 Soccer Rankings for April - #10-6

The top team from Virginia has continued to roll in the spring season as the Arlington Impact Red kick off our rankings at No. 10. The Virginia State Champions (B13) recently reached the quarterfinals of the Annandale Premier Cup 2012 (B14 Adidas Premier), pocketing a 4-0 win over the formidable Ohio Premier Eagles Green before losing a tight 2-1 decision in the quarters to the No. 3 Dix Hills Soccer Success Elite.

They bested the Chantilly Soccer Club Strikers 1-0 in the decider. The club was a finalist at the Region I Championship (B13 Championship) last summer, where it fell short 4-1 in the final to the Bethesda SC Lions. They also won the OBGC Capital Cup Labor Day Tournament (B14 Premier), squeezing by the Montgomery SC Falcons 2-1 in the final.

Recently the squad was a finalist at the Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament (B14 ASL1) and reached the quarterfinals of the 2012 Jefferson Cup Boys Showcase (B14 ASL Brackets), notching a 6-0 over Beach FC Red in the process.
