Diaz was named as a Travelball Select All-American for his second year in a row, after being named Player of the Year in 2011 as an 11-year-old.

“Darius is a great kid that loves to play the game. He has great feel for the game and constantly works to become better every day. He is a Role player with a great attitude and tremendous ability and the sky is the limit for him” – Coach Miguel Soto
