Scouting Report

Carney has built himself into quite the athlete and a track standout. After being the #1 sophomore in Oklahoma in both the indoor and outdoor Boys 800m, Carney has since taken his talent to IMG Academy where he's continued to develop and prosper on the track. Carney has a lot of foot speed for a middle distance runner and has a very powerful running style. His versatility as a runner is impressive, as he can run quality times in the 200m, 400m, 600m, 800m, 1600m, and 5K. Carney is now a 7x HS All American & 2x National Champion. He is one of only a select few runners, who has earned Nike, Adidas, and New Balance All American status.
