About me I live with a “one team” mentality because my actions or lack thereof have an impact on my team, not just me. I commit time to self-improvement outside of team practices to ensure I bring my best and consistently seek feedback on my performance. What makes me different from other recruits is that I believe in doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. I am acutely aware that decisions made, and actions taken have consequences – both good and bad; I hold myself accountable for my performance and the attitude I bring to my environment and my team. I am an athlete that believes that every day is an opportunity to be better than I was the previous day, and constantly leverage the strengths of my teammates to learn from them to improve where I may have weaknesses. My sophomore year, I had a goal to be make the varsity team and attained that goal after the first two games of the season. Once I was moved up to varsity, my new goal was to earn my varsity letter – and I ended up starting. I have maintained an A/B honor roll status since my freshman year and strive to keep abreast of my classwork with my busy schedule that includes extracurricular & volunteer activities, part-time work, and athletic training (on and off campus).
