About me My name is Brock Roberts. I am going into 7th grade in 2021. I love football, wrestling and baseball, and I want to be a doctor one day.
In football, I am a dual-threat quarterback. In 6th grade, I completed 32 passes for 253 yards and 5 touchdowns in 7 total games while also lining up at RB and WR sometimes. I also rushed for 357 yards on 38 carries (8.8 ypc) and scored 5 touchdowns. My favorite play was when I scored a 50 yard rushing touchdown on an option read to tie the game on the last play of regulation. I also had 3 receptions for 20 yards.
I am also the starting Middle Linebacker for my middle school team. I love to hit. I am planning to return to Quarterback for my 8th grade season in 2022.
As a first year wrestler for one of the best programs in the nation (Edmond North Varsity is ranked #10 nationally), I have already placed in the top 4 of two major tournaments with 18-man brackets at 140 lbs. I wrestle a relentless, attacking, physical style that wears down opponents, as you can see in my attached videos. As of 1/21/22, I have outscored my opponents in my last 4 wins 35-0 with 2 falls and a tech fall. I have not lost to another 7th grader since before Thanksgiving and have only surrendered 2 first period points in my last 8 matches against all junior high opponents (7th-9th grade).
In baseball, I am a 3 year starter at 1st base on my tournament team. This summer in 12U against strong Texas and Oklahoma competition, I slashed .316/.391/.526 and fielded .930. I can also play any outfield position, 3rd base, and even catcher when needed.
As a multi-sport athlete in the largest school class in Oklahoma (6A), I am proving I can dominate against anyone. I believe this also shows my elite work ethic all while finishing with a 3.57 gpa this past semester. I am looking forward to continuing to develop my talents to be a D1 athlete in the future.
