My Dream Goal It's my goal to develop continuously as an athlete, both physically and mentally. By gaining in both areas, I hope to enhance my skill set and leadership abilities, eventually guiding my teams to great success in the form of regional and state championships. At the end of my high school career, it's my goal to earn a college athletic scholarship, where I can continue to develop through training and competition.
My Individual Season Goal Going into the season, my goal is to contribute both defensively and offensively for my middle school basketball team. Specifically, I'd like to have a shooting percentage of 50% or better and a free throw percentage of 85% or better. In reference to awards, my hope is to average at least two steals per game and earn defensive player of the year for my team.
About me I'm mostly proud of the fact that I am a true student-athlete. I compete to the best of my abilities in both. I finished third in the nation in the AAU 10U javelin event, won state championships in AAU track and field for the long jump and 200, and earned MVP honors in a middle school all star basketball game. That said, I'm also a member of the Jr. Beta Club at my middle school and really enjoy problem-solving. Whether it's working on science experiments or building something with my tools in the backyard, I love to think through problems and create new ideas.
