Goals and about me

My Dream Goal
To earn a scholarship to play Division-1 Baseball at preferably an ACC or SEC school. Then continue my studies into Medical School and become an Emergency Physician.
My Individual Season Goal
To become generally a better athlete, a better student, as well as better person. Not just every season, but every time I step on a field, weight room, classroom, church, even when I'm working out at home after-hours. To take no "Off-season". I strive to improve in everything I do. Specifically, my mechanics and techniques, to improve my knowledge of the game, my speed tremendously, as well as my strength. During this 2017 Fall, those are two of my main goals. During the time when I'm playing, my goals are to have a batting average over .600, 50 RBI's, and 15 HR's. For pitching, Give up less than 20 Hits, Less than 2 HR's, and have under 15 BB's.
About me
I have grown up in Garner, NC, and been playing Baseball since I was 7 (Spring of 2011). I have tried several sports over the years, but my true passion is for Baseball. To be honest, it wasn't love at first sight. Therefore, I didn't focus or try hard. But, after half a season I started to fall in love with this game. Ever since, my life has been focused on God, family, school, friends, and Baseball. To improve my speed, strength, and overall athleticism, I will add a secondary sport in my near high school career. I have been homeschooled since 1st grade and will be transferring to public school my Sophomore year. Throughout my Baseball career, I have played and started at every position in the field. As well as hit in the 5 hole or higher, ever since I fell in love with the sport. What sets me apart is my work ethic. When I find something I love, I do whatever I can to improve in that area. I am willing to work till I puke if it means a D1 scholarship. My favorite subject in school is Science, hence my dream to become a Dr. In recent years I have found a passion for helping others, and medicine. Participating in several mission trips have guided me in that. Medicine is something I have found a passion for, and after narrowing down my options, I have selected Emergency Physician as my main area of medicine to go in to.
