Goals and about me

My Dream Goal
I started playing Little League when I was 7 years old. I play baseball for Nokomis Regional High School (2023) and played for Maine Lightning Division 1 Elite Blue Team out of Portland Maine . I had the opportunity to travel throughout New England as well as play with other elite players. I also had the opportunity to play at the Diamond Nation Tournament in New Jersey in 2018. I currently pitch and play shortstop. My goal is to continue working hard through high school and be scouted and recruited to play Division 1 baseball in college. My goal is to go all the way and play in the MLB.
My Individual Season Goal
My season goal is to play consistent and steady as a team captain and go to another championship one game at a time. My batting average and RBIs is always a goal. To work extra hard on my fielding and increase pitching speed as I grow as a player. I want my ERA to stay under 2.0 for my High School Season as well as American Legion Summer Baseball and Fall Baseball. I'm a starting Catcher as well, so my goal is to get my legs and upper body as strong as I can. I want to excel at my positions both on an individual basis , but also as a Team Leader/Captain . I am working just as hard on my GPA when I'm not on the field. I want to play competitive baseball throughout the year as much as I'm possibly able to. Living in Maine at times takes some of my playing time away so im working on a new routine and schedule that works with my school schedule. I also am working on my POP Time while catching. I am working hard to get consistently under 2.0 for my pop time. Its not just a season goal, its a year around every day goal untill I meet my goal and then I need to keep my pop time at 2.0 or better there on out. Im almost at my goal going into my Junior Year of High School. Baseball is my passion. My goal is to continue to work hard on and off the field, and to be scouted to play Baseball at the Division 1 College Level. From there my future goal is to get drafted and play Professional Baseball. That has always been my goal , and I know statistically the % of players to get drafted out of Maine. I'm ok with those numbers , that just means I have to be strong enough skill wise, have extreme mental toughness, stay healthy, and not just want this all to happen. I have to lay my own path with extremely hard work, I have to go and make it happen.
About me
I decided a long time ago that baseball and I would have a future with hard work, determination, and personal goals I will get there. I feel I work extremely hard and play baseball all but a few months a year. Any opportunity to play and play against elite players is important to me . My school grades are most important , and with hard work I strongly feel I will be scouted. I'm a team player all the way around but I have individual goals for my personal growth.
