About me
I aspire to play Division I football upon completion of high school. Faith, family, and football have molded who I am. First and foremost, I strive to live a life that glorifies God. I am a three-sport athlete that has had a love for football for as long as I can remember. My dad played in college and then went on to play in the NFL, so football has been a part of our family. I’d like to share with you my story of adversity and perseverance, and about my dedication to the sport I love. On Tuesday, September 6, 2016, I had my first junior high football game, as the quarterback for Webb City 7th grade. On the first play, of our second possession, I took a bad hit on a broken play. I broke the tibia, fibula, and growth plate in my right leg. Although it ended my season, after 4 surgeries, and months of physical therapy, I was able to return to football the following season. I led our team to undefeated seasons my 8th grade & freshman years. Prior to my sophomore season, I learned that I had another injury that would cause me to be out another season. I had surgery in July of 2019 and had the opportunity to transfer to IMG Academy. I went through physical therapy there and was able be a part of their football program. This opportunity helped me to optimize my time out by gaining knowledge and increasing my football IQ. Later, I was medically released and during the spring of 2020 I gained back my strength and worked hard at improving my skill set. I’m excited to go back to IMG and compete this fall.
