My Individual Season Goal To improve every day and to get noticed with a star rating, and/or scholarship opportunities. Sky is the limit so don’t set goals you know you can easily get. Set goals that you know are hard to reach and they push you to push yourself.
About me First and foremost I am a devout Christian that understands that without the good Lord, I would not even be considering playing at the collegiate level. He has blessed me in so many ways with the athletic ability that I do possess.
I come from athletic parents where my mother is a personal trainer, gym owner, and recreation center manager. My father was a state track competitor, played collegiate football, and also has coached for many years, so I have grown up as a coach's son being taught drills from an early age, and have an understanding of the importance of film study.
I want to play at the collegiate level for the main reason that I cannot imagine football being over forever after my senior year. I love the lockerroom environment and friendships that it brings when everyone is working to better themselves for the ultimate goal. To win games. I have almost always been an A/B student while being involved non-stop in sports since the age of 4. Being raised by a military veteran father showed me the importance of my academics, and my parents have always pushed me to make it a high priority. I have always been a multi-sport athlete that participates in football, basketball, and track at the high school level. I understand how being a multi-sport athlete helps me in every other sport.
I have been playing football since the age of 5. I have played the positions of WR, TE, and DE with my true passion being at the WR position. I have played in both TYFA and AAU state championships. I also have been selected 3 times to play in the AAU Texas vs. Arkansas All-Star football game at Cowboys Stadium where the best AAU football players across the state of Texas get selected to play in. I take extreme pride in my ability to catch the football. I feel that if the ball hits my hands, it is my job as a WR/TE to catch it. I take most pride though in my mental, and physical toughness. I truly believe that the best ability a player can possess is availability. I take extreme pride in my blocking skills and helping the ball carrier to gain as many yards as possible. I have played physically since age 5 and can say that I have been blessed to never have been seriously injured. I have taken some big hits and always have bounced up ready for the next play.
Playing collegiate football is a dream of mine, but to be blessed enough to do it, and for it to help me get a degree would be a dream come true.
