Adam Erne (1995 Birth Year) Commits To BU

Boston, MA (Youth1) - For the second time in a week, a top 1995 birth year player has made a verbal commitment to play for Boston University. Last week it was Westchester Express defenseman, Anthony DeAngelo, this week it's Adam Erne.

 

The highly regarded Erne is considered one of the top 1995 birth year players in the US. The Youth Hockey Report had rated Erne as a top three forward in the 1995 Birth Year. Erne was also highly regarded by the Amateur Hockey Report. At only 15 years old, this rising sophomore is already 5' 11" and about 175 lbs.

 

Erne is a resident of North Brandford, CT who played for the Top Gun organization before leaving to go play for the highly regarded LA Selects program as a Bantam. According to the US Hockey Report,  Erne will play for the New Jersey Rockets of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League.

 

Up next for Erne is the USA Hockey Select 15 Player Development Camp which begins this Friday. Erne joins defenseman Matt Grzelcyk as the second member of the 2013 recruiting class.
