Day 1 Schedule Set for 2019 VAC Duals

The first rounds of the 2019 VAC National Holiday Duals are set as the opening round brackets have been released. The round robin pool will feature 12 different pools that will feature four teams each. The teams will wrestle three matches against one another and then top team from each pool will then move onto the championship Gold bracket on Saturday morning.

 

Here is a look at the opening round pools:


 

Pool A 

Cali Gold

Boneyard WA

Team Vanquish

Illinois Orange and Blue

 

Notes: Pool A features the defending VAC National Holiday Dual champions in team Cali Gold. The others to watch are Team Vanquish and Illinois Orange and Blue. 

 

Pool B

ScorpionsDynasty DeathRow

Combat WC

Oklahoma Thunder

Center Grove

 

Notes: The favorite in this bracket is Scorpions Dynasty DeathRow. They’ve had success in this event in the past and will be the favorite to win this pool. 

 

Pool C

Buxton Intensity

NCWAY National Team

DC`s Team Savage

Minion Green

 

Notes: The top two teams in this bracket will be Buxton Intensity and DC’s Team Savage. 

 

Pool D

PA Gold

Missouri United

Mile High Gold

Legends of Gold

 

Notes: The favorite to win Pool D will be PA Gold. They are a team that is expected to make a deep run not only in this Pool but also the Gold Medal bracket. 

 

Pool E

Oklahoma Storm

Triumph WA

PA Blue

POWA Colorado

 

Notes: Two teams to watch in this Pool include Oklahoma Storm and Triumph WA. PA Blue and POWA Colorado also feature strong rosters and this could be one of the most competitive Pools in the early round. 

 

Pool F

Kansas Marshals

Team Ronin

Minion Black

PA White

 

Notes: Kansas Marshals have put together a strong roster and should contend with Minion Black to win this Pool. 

 

Pool G

PA Silver

Team New Mexico

New Jersey Power

Titan Mercury

 

Notes: This should be another competitive bracket as the winner of PA Silver and New Jersey Power will most likely move onto the Gold Medal bracket. 

 

Pool H

Buxton Red Beards

MF1

Oklahoma Tornados

Ohio Grey

 

Notes: The Buxton Red Beards and Oklahoma Tornados are the top two teams in this bracket. 

 

Pool I

Ohio Scarlet

Team Michigan

ScorpionsDynasty No Limit

Warhawks

 

Notes: Ohio Scarlet is a team that is two years removed from winning the whole thing. They will have a chance to win this pool if they can get back the Scorpions No Limit team and the Warhawks. 

 

Pool J

Iowa Black

The Academy

Cali Gold/Black

East Coast Elite

 

Notes: The Academy has put together a strong squad and could be poised to pull a few upsets. They will have to get past Iowa Black and Cali Gold/Black who are also strong contenders. 

 

Pool K

Minion Legends

Wisconsin Red

The Xpress

Team VAWA

 

Notes: The Minion Legends team has put together a strong squad and sits in a favorable Pool. They should have no issues moving on to the Gold Medal bracket if they can get past The Xpress. 

 

Pool L

The Xtreme

Team Nauman Green

Team Sconnie

GA Justice

 

Notes: Team Xtreme and Team Sconnie and the top two teams in this pool and their match could be very close.
