This Saturday in Manalapan New Jersey, at Sportika, the third annual Olympic Softball Clinic will be held.
Two former Olympians Crystl Bustos and Leah O’Brien will lead the event.
Bustos is a two-time Olympic gold medalist who holds the record for most home runs during an Olympic series, with six. O’Brien won three National Championships with the University of Arizona, along with three Olympic gold medals.
While this camp will be very focused on drill-work and developing skills, it will also have a strong mentoring aspect as well. All instructors will be sharing advice and stories, relating softball to life lessons each participant can use on a day-to-day basis.
The Softball community in Manalapan has also added a charity whiffle ball game against the Olympians as a way to raise money for FRA to help disabled children in the area.
