2023 QB Brennan Storer receives his first D1 offer from Kent State University

Among the elite Quarterbacks from the 2023 class is Dallas, TX native Brennan Storer, who recently received is first D1 offer from Kent State University.

Storer, who was named to Youth1's Elite101 Rankings last fall, has earned a reputation for his ability as a QB. Youth1 has Storer ranked as the #5 prospect in the 2023 class, so the it's no surprise to us that D1 programs around the nation have taken notice of what Storer brings to the table.

Receiving an offer from Kent State is major recognition for a rising young athlete like Storer.

"Getting an offer means a lot to me. I’ve been working hard since I was a little kid to achieve my goal of playing in college so to get an offer going into 9th grade definitely helps motivate me even more to work harder," Storer told Youth1.com.

"I was shocked and kept thinking about how much work I had put into achieving this goal and to have it happen was incredible," he added.

For those unfamiliar with Storer's talent, he's arguably the most impressive QB in the 2023 class. Storer has a strong arm and the ability to make plays both inside and outside the pocket. He's known for his ability as a dual-threat QB. He throws an outstanding ball with deadly accuracy. He also throws with great touch while on the move.

If he feels any pressure, he's quick in his mind and his feet to evade the rusher while keeping his eyes downfield to locate the receiver. Once the ball leaves his hand, it has a super tight spiral and zips into the receiver's hands.

The 5'11" 180-pound QB has racked up some impressive accolades during his career including #1 Rated Dual-Threat QB by QB Hit List, 2X US National Team QB / Captain Youth1 Elite101 Top 5 Overall Player Ranking, 2X O-D All-American, NUC All-American, NFPA All-American and FBU's Top Gun.

He believe's that receiving an offer from Kent State shows that his hard work and dedication is paying off.

"It shows I’m on the right path but I know that I’ve got a lot more work to do to achieve all of my goals," Storer said.

"Definitely makes me feel good and shows I’m on the right path but it also has helped motivate me even further to work even harder," he added.

While receiving a D1 offer is an awesome achievement, Storer remains focused on his growth. This summer he plans on improving all aspects of his game.

"Right now I’m continuing to work on all aspects of my game - there is always room to improve in just about everything," Storer said.

"Focusing right now on getting bigger, faster and stronger," he added.

2023 QB Brennan Storer is one of the elite athletes from his class. Receiving what is sure to be the first of many D1 offers is a great step in his career. Kent State would be lucky to have him.

For now, Storer has a very bright future and one that we all will be following going forward.

"Keep following me because the best is yet to come," Storer said.
