2023 QB Brennan Storer earns #5 spot in Youth1's Elite101 Rankings

The 2023 class is filled with talented QBs, with quarterback being the most well represented position in Youth1's recently released Elite101 rankings. From dual-threat quarterbacks to traditional pocket passers, the 2023 has some real strong QB talent.

Among the stellar QB prospects from the 2023 class is Brennan Storer, who came in at #5 on our Elite101 rankings.

"I’ve been fortunate to play with and against many who also made the list so I was extremely humbled and honored to be listed among so many talented players," Storer said of his Elite101 ranking.

"I’ve worked really hard and continue to work hard to reach my goal of earning a D-1 scholarship and playing on Saturdays (and hopefully one day on Sundays). It means a lot to be recognized by an organization like Youth1 and that recognition helps to drive me harder," he added.

The Dallas, TX native found out about his spot on the Elite101 after his phone began to blow up the day it was released.

"My social media alerts started blowing up and it seemed like the list was being posted everywhere," he said.

Storer is arguably the best QB in the 2023 class, with his ability to make plays from both inside and outside the pocket. He throws an outstanding ball with deadly accuracy. He also throws with great touch while on the move.

If he feels any pressure, he's quick in his mind and his feet to evade the rusher while keeping his eyes downfield to locate the receiver. Once the ball leaves his hand, it has a super tight spiral and zips into the receiver's hands.

"I play QB and enjoy the ability to read the defense and help make on the field adjustments to help my team score," Storer said.

Standing at 5'10" 165 lbs., Storer is known as a dual-threat QB because of his ability to make plays with his legs. If the defense allows him to have time in the pocket, he'll dice them up with ease.

Plain and simple, Storer has real game.

Some of his most impressive accolades include #1 Rated Dual-Threat QB by QB Hit List, 2X US National Team QB / Captain Youth1 Elite101 Top 5 Overall Player Ranking, 2X O-D All-American, NUC All-American, NFPA All-American and he attended FBU's Top Gun.

Storer doesn't play for the accolades, as he mentioned his real goal is getting a D1 scholarship and playing on Sundays. More than anything, he just loves to compete.

"I love the game, competing and being a part of a team working together to reach a common goal. It’s a game that requires you to work hard, teaches you to handle pressure and criticism but also how to be humble when you’ve had success," Storer said.

"I feel that I’m getting better each day and continuing to work hard to reach my full potential both on and off the field," he added.

As a he prepares himself for the next level, Storer has some things he's focused on improving.

"Focused on getting bigger, stronger and faster. I put on 35 pounds of muscle since last season and it’s had a big impact on my game," he said.

Being named to Youth1's Elite101 rankings is an impressive achievement for any athlete. It's a representation of Storer's hard work and talent on the field being recognized.

For 2023 QB Brennan Storer, the sky is the limit from here. This is just the beginning.

"Just being a part of the Youth1 Elite101 is a huge honor but being listed in the top 5 is an incredible honor," Storer said.

"Keep following me because the best is yet to come."
