2019 Skill Guys Shining at 2015 FBU Top Gun

The final day at FBU Top Gun concluded on Wednesday at Dublin Jerome High School in Dublin, Ohio. Over 800 top youth players in the country came to FBU Top Gun to showcase their talent in the nation’s premier youth camp. The morning session on Wednesday featured some of the top 2019 defensive players around the country competing against each other in one on one competition’s and 7 on 7 competitions.

Antoine Davis- Macon, Georgia- Davis was sensational over the three days at Top Gun, proving to be the top defensive back is the class of 2019. During one on one’s, Davis has shown the ability to shadow a receiver to little separation.  One of the highlights of FBU Top Gun was his ability to completely lock his side of the field down during 7 on 7’s.

Anthony Corbin Jr- Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania- Corbin Jr was spectacular this week during positional breakdowns, individual drills, and 7 on 7 play. One of the biggest standouts in the 2019 class, Corbin Jr did all the right things and continued to improve his game each day at Top Gun. Standing 5’9 and 166lbs, Corbin Jr has the ceiling to be a high level linebacker at the next level.

John Hunter Henry-Spicewood, Texas- Henry put together three quality days in a row to earn himself a spot in the defensive standouts.  The 5’8 corner back has a good frame for the position to go along with his impressive footwork. A veteran of FBU Top Gun, Henry was able to make the most of his opportunities during 1 on 1’s.

Angel Clemente-Killeen, Texas- Clemente has terrific size for the position at 5’10 and 160lbs. A combination of strength and speed has moved Clemente up the list of top prospects at Top Gun.  His ability to shutdown running backs during 7 on 7 was very impressive for a linebacker.

Omari Smith- Cape Coral, Florida- Smith’s has lightening quick speed to cover ground with any receiver in the class of 2019. His ability to take away a receiver during 7 on 7’s really stood out on day three.
