Tommy Hanly is a 14-year old point guard from Tacoma, Washington. In his most recent season at Annie Wright School, Hanly averaged 29 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds per game. Hanley models his game after retired NBA point guard Jason Williams.
“My biggest strengths are definitely my ability to pass and set up my teammates.” Said Hanley. “I can keep defenders honest with my jump shot, I can also get to the rim and finish.”
Hanly plans on attending the Washington Middle School Champions tournament later this month; he also got invited to the John Lucas Camp on May 12th-13th. It will also be his third year in a row attending the MSHTV Showcase later this year.
Hanly is looking forward to playing his high school ball next year at Bellarmine High School. It will be interesting to see how he develops over those four years, and ultimately if he goes on to play college basketball.
