Marcus Johnson has been a human highlight reel since he was in the 4th grade. As insane as that sounds Johnson, if you watch anyone of his highlight videos is clearly years ahead of his competition on the court.
This past week at the 2019 NEO Youth Johnson was at it again making defenders look silly. Johnson eventually moved up and played against 6th grade competition and still dominated. Johnson is a true floor general with crazy handles, great vision and has the ability score from anywhere on the court.
Basketball is in Johnson’s blood, his father Sonny Johnson was 1998 Ohio’s Mr. Basketball, he has two uncles who played basketball at the division I level, his brother Sonny Johnson Jr. and cousin Meechie Johnson both play for the Garfield Heights varsity team in Ohio.
Johnson is currently the top ranked 5th grader in the country and with the support system he has behind him it will be fun to see him develop as he matures physically and mentally.
