Goals and about me

My Dream Goal
My dream goal is to play hockey at the Division 1 college level and have a hockey career from there. I have such a great passion for the game of hockey and I would love to continue to play, but specifically play it at one of the highest levels possible. It would be a dream come true if I made it to the National Hockey League; however, in order to do that I need to first go to college and dominate there.
My Individual Season Goal
This year at my new school I am striving to be not only on the varsity team but to be a first liner and put up at least an average of a point a game. I am not sure if there are awards; however, if there is an award I would strive for some leadership award and/or statistical award. I strive to always help out the team whether its with my hockey skills or with my leadership skills.
About me
Hi, I am Jett Kremer. I have a strong passion for the game of ice hockey and my dream has always been to compete at the Division 1 college level. I have been captain of my travel hockey team, The Atlanta Fire, for four years straight. This upcoming season I decided that playing in the south was not the best option due to the extreme amount of travel and minimal exposure. I then left my home town to play hockey at The Eaglebrook School in Deerfield, Massachusetts. I reclassified for higher performance in games. I work as hard as I can because I know that if I do I will continue to get better and pursuit even farther in my hockey career. Every game and practice I always want to lead by example, whether its going first in drills or always listening to the coach and not talking/messing around. During the Spring and Summer when hockey is not in season I do many tournament teams because I miss being on the ice, and I enjoy getting coached by different coaches. I noticed that being coached from a variety of different coaches shows what other teams might have in mind during games and what the best strategies are. This brings my hockey IQ to a very high level which is a big part of my game. Another large part of what makes me the hockey player I am is how I love to block shots. Every game I always have a goal to block at least two shots. This is because I have learned that one of the easiest ways to counter attack on a team and get a quick goal is to block a shot and go down on a breakaway. My style of play is definitely a goal scorer, but I also put up many assists due to selfless play. I am striving to compete at the Division 1 college hockey level and continue my hockey career from there.
