My Individual Season Goal
To do better than yesterday. I want to prove that it doesn't matter if you're a little white boy from a dinky little Idaho town, that if you work hard, and seek it out, you can achieve your dreams. I would love to win a Heisman! Or any honor for that matter! I just want to play football!
My name is Bryce Patterson. I'm a 12 year old kid from Shoshone, Idaho. Shoshone is a town with a population of about 1,500 people. We play 8-man football here, although I am familiar with 11 man as well. I play 3 sports at an elite level, and also have my black belt in mixed martial arts. However, football is king! My dream is to play college football! Jerry Rice is my all-time favorite player-- I have a poster of him in my bedroom, with the quote "Today I will do what others won't, so that tomorrow I can do what others can't." It really speaks to me. I try to live my life the same way. Which is why I'm traveling 12 hours to take a step towards my biggest dream. I have a super supportive family and group of friends. Friends that I've had since kindergarten. We play every sport together! Our football team won the league championship in our portion of the state this past season! My mom says that I have football on the brain, and at camp last year, Seneca Wallace told her that I was something special, and that he would be watching for me. It meant a lot.
