#10 Missouri Fury- Power Rating: 1386 

 

Missouri_Fury_12U_Team_PhotoKicking off our rankings at number ten are the Missouri Fury. The Wentzville squad has a 20-10 overall record (13-1 vs. class B competition), 520 USSSA points, and a 1386 power rating.

The Fury have won a pair of championships, taking the Girls Fastpitch Tournament for Autism with a 5-0 record and a 27-3 run differential. It also won the USSSA Heartland Classic, going 5-0.

Manager Jerry Langdon guides a team that consists of Mikaela Birly, Jordin Buenemann, Grace Evans, Alleigh Fine, Samantha Henderson, Katy Kruse, Sarah Langdon, Courtney Laughlin, Katie McCrory, Caitlyn McNiff, Jill Norton, and Ally Tomson.

 

 

 

#9 West Deptford Storm - Power Rating: 1392

 

West_Deptford_Storm_12U_LogoThe West Deptford Storm 99 take the number nine spot. The Jersey team compiled a 21-10 overall record, creating havoc for it's opponents, with a 1392 power rating and 190 USSSA points.

Gabrielle Ochinegro put up a .422 season batting average for the club, which recorded a 5-2 record, and a second place finish at the USSSA 2011 Summer Splash WSQ tournament. The team also finished third at the Fastpitch Frenzy tournament.

Managed by Nicholas Fiorentino, the roster is comprised of Abby Cunningham, Krist Dimeo, Dominique Fiorentino, Shannon Gasparovic, Morgan Kitchin, Nicole Little, Danielle Long, Hannah Marshall, Marisa Naegele, Gabrielle Ochinegro, Hannah Ochinegro, and Oliva Ochinegro.

 

 

 

#8 T.T.A Softball - Power Rating: 1393 

 

TTA_Softball_12U_Team_PhotoCharting at number eight is this powerhouse from West Texas, T.T.A. Softball. The Odessa club has a 26-2 overall record (19-2 vs. class B), a 1393 power rating, and 975 USSSA points.

The team went 6-1, and outscored its opponents 68-10, to win the NM/WTX State Championship. It also went a stunning 11-0 to take the Goliah 8GG tournament, and won the 2011 Summer Starter NIT.

 

Manager Angel Martinez fields a team comprised of Madie Gutierrez, Alexis Juarez, Clarissa Martinez, Miranda Martinez, Courtney Monk, Brittany Munoz, Rosario Munoz, Emily Nunez, Kassie Sanchez, and Sarah Welsh.

 

 

#7 South Jersey Maniacs 12U - Power Rating 1395 

 

South_Jersey_Maniacs_12U_Team_PhotoThis New Jersey team has driven its opponents crazy this season, as the Maniacs 12U of Mullica take the seventh spot. The team has a 16-1 record, with 205 USSSA points and a 1395 power rating.

The Maniacs went 6-0, with a whopping 67-7 run differential, to capture the USSSA 2011 Summer Slammer tournament. It also won six more games to sweep through the USSSA Spring Dazzle 2011.

Manager Michelle Korte fields a team that consists of Emily Brown, Julianna Catania, Kelsey Dewees, Carly Hattman, Kailyn Korsak, Katherine Korte, Brianna Lagroteria, Jena Lasewicz, Jessica Liepe, Monica Lugo, Mackenzie Mindish, and Samantha Morton.

 

 

#6 Lehigh Valley Patriots - Power Rating: 1400

 

LV_Patriot_Valley_Flames_LogoThe softball training ground of Pennsylvania is first represented on our rankings by the Lehigh Valley Patriot Flames, at number six. The Allentown team has a 26-2 overall record (26-1 vs. class B), 400 USSSA points, and a strong 1400 power rating.

The Flames have a trio of championships this season, including the USSSA 2011 Memorial Day Classic, where it went 6-0 and outscored its opponents 58-8. The club also won the USSSA B Spring Fling 1214 and USSSA Spring Storm tournaments.

Managed by Blake Morgan, the team includes Taylor Deutsch, Shauna Frank, Shannon Gallagher, Steph Herpel, Taylor Knappenberger, Mya Machinski, Chelsea Morgan, Jillian Muthard, Brooke Rogers, Erin Schmick, Kay Solderitch, Rachel Spanitz, and Taylor Sweigart.
