No. 10 West Coast FC



Our California ambush continues with No. 14 West Coast FC that has already won a big tournament this spring. Coached by Carlos Gonzales, the Laguna Hills squad won the Legends Classic 2012 (G12 Gold Flight) event in May, going 4-1 and scoring a huge 1-0 final win over the No. 3 So Cal Blues Rennie-Bobak.

No. 9 San Tan SC 2000



Hailing from Chandler, Arizona, the No. 9 San Tan SC 2000 just won the prestigious AYSA State Championships 2012 (G12 Arizona Championships) in April. San Tan, guided by Karine Inoue, went 4-0 (with a 6-1 goal differential) to take that trophy home, outlasting the Scottsdale Soccer 00 Blackhawks 1-0 in the title match.

No. 8 El Dorado United SC Eclipse



The No. 8 El Dorado United SC Eclipse used a monster showing at the Champions Cup 2011 (G12) in September to claim a spot on our countdown. The Eclipse, coached by Henry Reis, swept five games to take that crown, beating its sister El Dorado United Eclipse SOL 1 8-3 in the title game. The squad outscored its opponents by a stunning 37-4 margin at that event.

No. 7 Arsenal FC G99 Brown



With its namesake club in England finishing a solid third on the Premier League table this season, No. 7 Arsenal FC G99 Brown has kept up that lofty standard. The team won the 2012 Vegas Cup MLK Weekend (G12 Division 1) tournament, going 4-1-1 and edging out the LA Verne Lazers Girls 2-0 in the decider.


Guided by Randy Brown, the roster includes Sophia Saldivar, Aleenah Perez, Kala McDaniel, Makayla Soll, Holland Rios, Ashlyn Farino, Erin Covey, Emily Mokricky, Renee Parado, Mylinda Gomez, Katie Wong, Ellie Canty, Audrey Basa, Valerie Cortez, Telusila Vunipola, Bryanna Duckett and Genevieve Barron.

No. 6 LV Neon 00 Girls Academy



The No. 6 LV Neon 00 Girls Academy has some of that Las Vegas glitz and it allowed them to prevail at the 2012 Nevada State Cup (G12) in April. The squad went 4-0 at that event (with a 18-1 goal differential) and sailed past Players SC 00 SB 3-0 in the championship match. LV Neon also won the 2012 LV Premier SC Invitational (G12 Premier) in March.


Led by Kenny Cartledge, the team consists of Jolianna Meyers, Kennedy Williams, Alana Rasmussen, Alex Roberto, Neally Peters, Poppy Cartledge, Alexandra Poppa, Cheyenne Banks, Amanda Gebheim, Sarah Goddard, Olivia Packer, Kailee Barnhard, Ryleigh Yanke, Grace Cashin, Alexa Hampton and Nohemi Mendoza..
