February 7th, 2010- Drew Brees, later named the MVP, connected with Jeremy Shockey for the go-ahead, two-yard touchdown pass with 5:42 left in the fourth quarter to lift the New Orleans Saints to a 31-17 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV.

Bowman February 8th, 1997- Scotty Bowman became the first NHL coach to win 1,000 regular season games when the Detroit Red Wings beat the Pittsburgh Penguins, 6-5.
