Wesley-Chapel-Storm-Logo-AThis 10U squad found a place at the top in the WCFBL tournament as the Wesley Chapel Storm won their fourth championship over the weekend.

The Storm surge was over when they completed the series with a victory over the St. Pete Thunder 10-8. The raging Storm scored 10.4 runs in each game. Their pitching limited opposing bats to 3.6 runs per game.

The team finished with a 13-2 record in the series. What has been most impressive about the team was their streak of winning three consecutive tournaments at a point in their season. They have amassed a season record of 31-4.

Trinity Yankees 9U - Trinity, South Florida
Trinity YankeesThe Yankees are the champions! That is the 9U Trinity Yankees of South Florida earned their way in the spotlight this weekend when they took home their third title of the season in the USSSA WCFBL.

The 9U Trinity Yankees were crowned the kings when they wiped out the West Coast Warriors 9U 14-2. The 9U bombers showed off their bats as their offense scored 12.33 runs per game and their pitching only gave up 3.22 runs on average. The Yankees ended up going 8-1 in the series.

Former champions of the USSSA Main Event – Plant City and the RBI Line Drive Classic, the Yankees have mustered a season record of 27-5.

Pinellas Park Crushers 8U - Pinellas Park, South Florida
Pinellas Park CrushersThe Pinellas Park Crushers won the 8U division of the USSSA WCFBL tournament, cruising to their first title of the season.

The Crushers proved their superiority when they outmatched Team Synergy 9-3 in the final game of the tournament. The 8U team from Pinellas Park showed off their muscle as their offense boomed 9.35 runs per game and their pitchers surrendered 4.28 runs per game. The ballclub ended up an impressive 13-1 in the series. They also recorded a 12 game winning streak at one point as well.

The Crushers are averaging 8.0 runs against their in-class rivals and recorded an overall record of 19-3.
